After working as a Pastry Chef in London for 22 years, I am now working from home in North Chingford.
Amongst other prestigious locations I was Head Pastry Chef and then Sous Chef at the QEII Conference Centre in Westminster for Prue Leith, Pastry Chef for The Orient Express train, and Chef Manager for a private business in Wigmore Street.

Each order is baked in my home especially for you. I do not batch-bake and freeze, I give you a freshly baked home-made cake, decorated by a professional.
I have been inspected by our local EHO and comply with all hygeine, food safety and allergen regulations.
I have been awarded a Food Standards Agency hygeine rating of 5. Very Good (the highest rating).
In addition I have an up to date Level 2 Hygeine certificates meeting UK/EU food hygiene and safety standards.
My experience tells me that a cake will taste better if I use real Butter, rather than a butter substitute.
Eggs should be Free Range, never from battery hens.
If I can, I will Buy British products and support our local economy.
I take Allergens very seriously and follow all FSA advice highlighting all the allergens that may be in your product.
I do use NUTS in my kitchen, and in some of the products that I use, but will do my utmost to keep your cake away from nuts or any other allergies that you may have. I follow the strict guidelines from the Food Standards Agency and from Dec 2014 these rules are changing, I will be up to date!
If you need it to be Gluten Free, I can do that, there are a few options....
I don't however suggest that your cake is actually "healthy", it has all the delicious ingredients that constitute a treat!
